Jude Welter is an Oregon artist who was born and raised in Montana.  In the 50 years she has lived in Oregon, an appreciation for the diversity and splendor of the area has instilled a deep love for all Oregon has to offer.
Jude has taught for Clackamas Community College's community education program since 1985, and is currently working through Canby Community Education as painting instructor on a weekly basis throughout the year.  The workshops at the 'Arts Cabin' are a wonderful retreat and energizing way to teach painters who may not have time or inclination to pursue a weekly class.
Jude currently has work for viewing at the Mt. Hood Cultural Center's Mountain Gallery, and several other locations as well as her home studio.  www.judewelterstudio.com for more information.  During the summer months, she has held paint-outs in Montana, Sisters, Oregon & Prineville, Oregon.  Her paintings have been featured in several magazines, and in 2007 she was choosen as the artist to produce paintings that featured Mount Hood and were used as awards for 8 outstanding businesses in Clackamas County.  She was the judge for the art entries in the 2008 Clackamas County Fair.  Jude was on the founding  board for the 'First City Arts Faire' and the 'Three Rivers Art Guild' as well as the 'Open Studios of Beavercreek.'  Her work is featured at The Mountain Gallery located in The Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum in Government Camp, & Crabapple Creek near Beavercreek, Oregon.

Experience transparent watercolor at its best! Pour, Spatter and Throw on the paint and watch what colorful surprises take place. The drawing and masking control the realism, while the pouring and spattering creates the freedom and looseness. Its great fun and you’ll get beautiful results.   Supply list mailed upon registration.
